This workshop is designed for physiotherapy students and newly qualified physiotherapists who want to build a solid foundation in resistance training.
Experienced professionals are also welcome—especially those looking to update their knowledge based on the latest scientific evidence.
What will you learn?
Core principles of resistance training: progressive overload, specificity, periodization, recovery
Categorization and biomechanics of fundamental movement patterns: squat, pull, push, lift, jump, and throw
Key elements of technique instruction, including verbal and tactile cueing
Programming training variables: exercise selection and order, intensity, volume, frequency, tempo, rest intervals
Designing and modifying individualized training plans
Performance testing fundamentals
